Apfel Kuchen II<
serves 4 to 6
/P>| 2 c. flour | Sift dry ingredients |
| 3 tsp. baking powder | |
| 1 tbsp. sugar | |
| 1/2 tsp. salt | |
| 4 tbsp. Crisco | Work in as for pie dough |
| 1 egg | Break egg into milk; beat and add to mixture; mix until all flour mixture is formed into a soft dough. |
| 1/2 c milk | |
| Grease 8 x 8 inch tins. Spread dough. | |
| 5 to 6 apples | Peel and cut apples into small wedges; arrange on top of dough. |
| Cinnamon | Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and raisins if desired. |

| Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. | |
