Barbecued Beefy Sticky Ribs-They're-Not

serves 4 to 6

Barbecued Not-Ribs

650g Lean beef steak or roast, preferably sirloin
cut into 1/2 inch rectangular strips

1 tblsp lime juice

1 can (15 ounces) diced fire-roasted tomatoes

1 clove garlic, roughly chopped

1 onion

half a medium jalape�o, seeds and ribs removed

1 tblsp soy sauce

1/2 cup brown sugar

Mix, blend, and pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours. Remove fat from sauce and serve sauce with the beef.
