Bonnaich
(Scones or Biscuits)
| 125 g flour | Stir together |
| 15 ml Baking Powder | |
| 2 ml salt | |
| 30 ml Butter or lard | Blend into flour with fingertips (or, if you are sassenach, with a pastry blender) |
| 180 ml cold water | Fork gradually into flour blend using only as much ice water as is required. |
| Pat biscuits into a flat pan with floured fingers. Mark into triangles. Bake 20 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Alternately, biscuits can be rolled out and cut into shapes with biscuit cutters. | |
