Melt in the microwave, about one minute at 1200W or until completely melted but not boiling. Pour the butter into a tall narrow glass and store in the refrigerator.
When solidified, scrape the milk solids off the top of the chilled clarified butter and reserve for flavouring vegetables and pastries. The remaining clarified butter yield is approximately 185grams
