Scones
serves 4 to 6
125g flour | Stir together thoroughly with a fork. |
15 ml baking powder | |
2 ml salt | |
30g lard | Rub into the flour mixture with clean hands |
~60 ml cold water | Fork gently through the destroux a few drops at a time until a moist but firm dough is obtained. |
Pat into a small flat pan, filling to the corners. Mark into triangles. Bake 15 minutes at 400F |
