White Bread
serves 4 to 6
170g (¾ cups) milk | Warm 30 seconds in microwave |
25 g (2 scant tbsp) white sugar | |
2 tsp yeast | Stir into warm milk/sugar mixture and let sit until proven |
55g (¼ cup) melted butter | Mix together |
1 egg | |
5g (1tsp) salt | |
360g (3 cups) white flour | Put into mixing bowl, add liquids and mix; then knead with bread-hook . Let rise until double in bulk |
Punch down risen dough and shape into loaf. Let it rise in loaf pan for 30 minutes. Bake 30 minutes at 375F |
