White Bread

serves 4 to 6

170g (¾ cups) milk

Warm 30 seconds in microwave

25 g (2 scant tbsp) white sugar

2 tsp yeast

Stir into warm milk/sugar mixture and let sit until proven

55g (¼ cup) melted butter

Mix together

1 egg

5g (1tsp) salt

360g (3 cups) white flour

Put into mixing bowl, add liquids and mix; then knead with bread-hook . Let rise until double in bulk

Punch down risen dough and shape into loaf. Let it rise in loaf pan for 30 minutes. Bake 30 minutes at 375F
